The Tempest Collection: Making A Statement
This past Sunday I hosted my first and very own, "Brunch & Trunk" show. It was a little nerve wrecking at first but once my guests arrived and the mimosas were flowing, it was all second nature. Not to mistake my guests or myself for being lushes but it did take a little bit of the edge off. After everyone got acquainted with each other and the chic accessories, I couldn't help but to notice that most of my doll guests kept trying the tempest bracelet. I didn't actually have the matching Tempest necklace on display but it was in the catalog and was highly favored. I too, fell in love with this statement piece when I placed orders for my trunk show essentials kit.
The Tempest collection is quite a versatile set and can own any outfit. Whether it's for a regular day at work or a fashion fete. The necklace can be worn either reversed or with the embellished clasp facing in the front, side or the back of your neck. This set can be styled with a simple collar blouse and a pencil skirt or as I styled it, with a sheath dress and peplum leather jacket. Not to mention a fabulous winged tote! This collection will not disappoint and it looks 10x better in person, on your neck or wrist than onlne! Take a look at my personal site for more versatile pieces that you may appreciate, here on Stella & Dot!

Inspiration: Halloween & Fashion
One of these designer collections that snagged my attention was the Vivienne Westwood's Spring/Summer 2013 Red Label Collection.Vivienne Westwood, a British designer, also coined as the "Grand Dame of Punk," according to Rolling Stones Magazine, has really nailed this style. Although, this collection is a bit different from her previous and has a nostalgic feel. Yet, it is still inspiring! I never been into the punkish or less than perfectly primp style but this look has really piqued my interest for next year's costume ideas. So, what do you think about Halloween and fashion?
