The Tempest Collection: Making A Statement
This past Sunday I hosted my first and very own, "Brunch & Trunk" show. It was a little nerve wrecking at first but once my guests arrived and the mimosas were flowing, it was all second nature. Not to mistake my guests or myself for being lushes but it did take a little bit of the edge off. After everyone got acquainted with each other and the chic accessories, I couldn't help but to notice that most of my doll guests kept trying the tempest bracelet. I didn't actually have the matching Tempest necklace on display but it was in the catalog and was highly favored. I too, fell in love with this statement piece when I placed orders for my trunk show essentials kit.
The Tempest collection is quite a versatile set and can own any outfit. Whether it's for a regular day at work or a fashion fete. The necklace can be worn either reversed or with the embellished clasp facing in the front, side or the back of your neck. This set can be styled with a simple collar blouse and a pencil skirt or as I styled it, with a sheath dress and peplum leather jacket. Not to mention a fabulous winged tote! This collection will not disappoint and it looks 10x better in person, on your neck or wrist than onlne! Take a look at my personal site for more versatile pieces that you may appreciate, here on Stella & Dot!

I Wear Pink For Grandma
In February I lost the most important person in my life to cancer, my grandma, and this set touched my heart. It may be almost the end of October and Breast Cancer Awareness month but I will forever cherish the loving memories of my grandma. Thank you PiaPia for making such a beautiful set and dedicating it to those who have experienced a loss of a loved one to cancer.

Harriet's 6th Annual PAFW & Runway Show
So, unfortunately I didn't make it to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC this past September, but guess what? I'm lucky enough to be going to this year's 6th annual Runway Show, for Harriet's Park Avenue Fashion week. It's here in my city, Orlando, and I can't wait to see what's hitting the catwalk! I heard that last year's show was amazing and I'm sure there's a lot to offer this year with the emerging designers and all the boutiques from Winter Park and more. The set up is already making quite a statement! If you are local and want to experience Fashion Week and partake in a night full of fabulous fashions, fetes, people, along with a chance to be dolled up and glam, then check out www.ParkAvenueFashionWeek.com for tickets and events leading up to the finale, the Runway Show! PAFW: Avant-Garde Trunk Show & Fashion Soirée
I found myself immediately welcomed by shoppe owner, Julius, as he led me to the terrace of a fantastic party, filled with entertainment, refreshments and of course, my fave...mini cupcakes served by handsome men. Models were styled from head to toe, dressed in amazing gowns, and adorned with the trendiest accessories. The event was sponsored by Things & Fashion, VitaminWater, PlanetTogs, iLashWorks and more. I experienced a great time from beginning to end and I can not wait for the main event on Saturday, the Runway Show! Tickets are being sold here, get them while they last at www.ParkAvenueFashionWeek.com!

Fall's Fashion Gem: Over-sized Gemstone Earrings
Irene Neuwirth earrings (see more diamond jewelry)
Large gemstone earrings are popping up on the red carpet in record numbers this fall. While most women may never get to set foot on a red carpet, there is nothing stopping them from capitalizing on this beautiful trend. Graduated gemstone earrings are a classic and timeless choice. The beauty of this trend is that you can wear statement earrings with a dress to a wedding, with a pencil skirt to the office, and even with a pair of jeans and a chunky sweater to dinner. Simple ballet flats, leggings and an over-sized, cowl-neck sweater almost beg to be worn with a gracious pair of statement earrings. JASON WU: NYFW SS13 Woos Me

So I've mentioned in my earlier post, Inspiration: NYFW SS13 , that I would let my readers know who I think stole the week. Well, here it is, my Jason Wu! Jason Wu, I know it'd be you that would ultimately woo me at the end of Fashion Week 2012. There were so many great collections, yet you were the apple of my eye. This collection is gorgeous and simply seductive. It swept me off my feet to say the least! After browsing at pictures from this runway show...well, ah hem, after gawking, I have decided that I need to procreate with this man. I'm just kidding, but I seriously do want a chance to go to one or a few of his shows. He is truly a fashion genius!

I am in total awe of Rachel Zoe's RTW Spring 2013 collection. I am also a huge fan of her style. I mean, can we just say AMAZING!
Rachel made a name for herself amongst celebrities and high profile personalities by singlehandedly bringing the vintage movement into fruition with her devotion to the style eras of the 1960’s and 1970’s. Her love and knowledge of haute couture coupled with her desire to create the unexpected red carpet moments by adding prints, color and avant-garde trends made her the go-to stylist for the Hollywood elite. With unprecedented success in red carpet dressing, Rachel’s clients became a fixture on countless best dressed lists in both fashion and mass media outlets. Read more: RACHEL ZOE

Simple Beauty: Beige & Cream
I didn't create this set but I do love this palette and adore this look! This is great for those days when you want to look well put together, but without too much effort. An adorable look for both, Fall and Winter. These boots are so chic and they look so comfortable. I'm not sure if they really are but given the wedged heel, I would think so. The tee also looks comfy and you can pair it with either a skirt, shorts or skinny jeans! This set is just as Emiant described it, simple beauty, where there is beauty in simplicity.
