Over-sized hats are one of the most daring new fall trends. Reminiscent of the styles worn to the Kentucky Derby, these new huge hats are begging to be worn with everyday outfits. While they may not be for the faint of heart, embracing the big-hat trend will unleash your inner vintage-glam diva. Over-sized hats with wide brims look exquisite with wool wrap dresses and pencil skirts. Of course, you can always get away with wearing a pair of dark-colored skinny jeans, a cropped cardigan and a cotton tank with your over-sized hat if you prefer. Fall's Fashion Gem: Over-sized Gemstone Earrings

Irene Neuwirth earrings

Large gemstone earrings are popping up on the red carpet in record numbers this fall. While most women may never get to set foot on a red carpet, there is nothing stopping them from capitalizing on this beautiful trend. Graduated gemstone earrings are a classic and timeless choice. The beauty of this trend is that you can wear statement earrings with a dress to a wedding, with a pencil skirt to the office, and even with a pair of jeans and a chunky sweater to dinner. Simple ballet flats, leggings and an over-sized, cowl-neck sweater almost beg to be worn with a gracious pair of statement earrings.
